Here is a selection of my learning that I wish to share. Not all my work will be perfect all of the time as I am a work in progress. I welcome positive and helpful comments.

Book

These two books are about staying alive in a cave. The second book is about spiders. The book on the left is rotten by Joseph monninger. And the book on the right is rotten by Jack heath. We get free books every year so we can read it at home or at school. The book on the right is about spiders in a army. I like scream because of the colours. The book on the left is about if your in a building and a earthquake is happening stay alive. Go to the center of the room and and take a position underneath some thing.

Whanaungataga
Over 9 weeks 1 I have been learning about my mihi whaanaungatanga identity and manaakitanga.
Manaakitanga are the steps to whanaungatanga.
whanaungatanga means a sense of belonging to a group.
I used pastels to colour in my art work and for the big black gaps i have done some patterns so it can stand out more.
I have copied the other side of my face with a pencil because the other side was printed. after drawing my face with a pencil I started to colour my face in with pastels.
As you can see my artwork with korus on it represents my family. the two big korus are my mum and dad and the four small korus are me my brother and my two sisters.
A pepeha is your school, principal, teacher, room number, where you're from, you're family name, and your name.
My art work that is big has my name, six korus,a turtle, and a pattern that i did for fun
